•1971 Magic Kingdom was built
•1975 Downtown Disney shopping, dining and entertainment complex opens
•1982 EPCOT opens
•1989 Disney-MGM studios opens
•1989 Typhoon Lagoon opens as Disney’s first water park.
•1994 EPCOT (Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow) centre renamed
•1995 Blizzard Beach water park opens. This was Disney’s third water park.
•1998 Disney World Animal Kingdom opens.
•2008 Disney MGM studio’s is renamed Disney Hollywood Studios.
